As a young strapping lad I was drawn to the outdoors. Whether running the banks of “The Creek”, family vacations spent fishing Pomme, Taney, or Norfork Lake. The summers spent in the “Wild Kingdom” or running the hills of Shannon County, MO. My marriage to Mother Nature started young. I clearly remember Grandpa’s stories of the Great Depression and the necessity of the “Outdoorsman” to survive. These stories were the embers that forged the marriage to nature. The rush of synchronization of all senses during the harvest is memories that can never be taken from me. The world pulls us in many directions, but these experiences are what keep me grounded and focused on life’s true importance. Had it not been for our fore fathers insightfulness to protect our sacred land and our rights to it, these would not be mine. Bow hunting is my passion. The courtship of the harvest and its environment are rich. It is now our duty to carry these traditions forward.

"When we hunt we experience extreme alertness to the point of an altered state of consciousness. For the hunter everything is alive, and he is one with the animal and its environment." Ortega y Gasset
