It was tough hunting conditions in Wyoming, after coming off one of the driest years on record, some described this summer as the greenest they had ever seen. With an abundance of lush food and standing water, it was going to make this Archery hunt a little bit tough as we were hunting box blinds over water holes.

Pro Staffer Steve Bemke was able to get his first

pronghorn with a bow after a couple long days on stand. The buck fed only 6 yards from his blind before offering him a perfect shot. The ragebroadhead did the rest as the buck went only 30 yards. This was Steve’s first trip to Wyoming and enjoyed every moment of it. From failed spot and stalks attempts, finding numerous pronghorn sheds, and enjoying seeing some beautiful country. The trip had it's up and downs, but would head back in a heartbeat to chase these pronghorn again.

Pro Staffer Brett Grimm Arrowed his buck on the second day of the hunt at 16 yards, it wasn’t the biggest antelope in the world, Brett had his mind set on taking a doe with his long bow. Brett hunted with his long bow for the next 2 days, he had an opportunity at a doe at 17 yards but shot over her back. The confused doe stuck around long enough for Brett to get off 2 more shots with his long bow, all over her back. Well he had his chance.

We can not say enough great things about Wyoming, the people and the hunting, for the least populated state in the Country, we always enjoy visting!
